Josh graduated from a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Newcastle in 2013. Josh then went on to complete a Master’s of Physiotherapy degree at the University of Sydney, graduating in 2015. Josh is also a qualified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor with years of experience in Pilates Instructing, both mat and reformer.
Since graduating last year, Josh has completed training courses in Integrated Dry Needling whilst continuing to develop his clinical skills under the guidance of career successful physiotherapists, the founding members of Hills St Sports Medicine Centre.
Using the experience and skills he has gained, Josh uses an evidence based approach with an exercise bias, to facilitate a comprehensive treatment for his patients. Josh enjoys the challenge of finding the ‘why’ behind a patient’s complaint.
His physiotherapy clinical interests are on the shoulder & postural dysfunction, the interplay the nervous system has during injury and integrating strength and conditioning principles into his treatment.
Josh is passionate about rural health and all things sport, particularly Rugby League, which he has played since he was young. Currently he is involved as a physio with the Terrigal Sharks Rugby League Club and the Central Coast Mariners - National Premier League, Junior Academy teams.
