Liana Burrows graduated from Lindenwood University in St Charles, Missouri with a Bachelor degree in Athletic Training in 2007. Whilst at Lindenwood University, Liana acted as a Student Athletic Trainer for the National Champion Track and Field Team, Women's Field hockey, Women's Tennis and American Football and Wrestling teams. Whilst completing her degree she participated on the College Tennis Team and assisted coaching the Women's Tennis team to nationals in Mobile Alabama for the first time in the school's history.
Since graduation, Liana has worked in Workers Compensation in and around Newcastle and the Hunter Valley, Health Promotion and Injury Prevention training in the mining industry whilst also working in an Injury Rehabilitation and Chronic Disease management clinic in Newcastle, NSW. Liana went on to complete her Master's in Business Administration on a tennis coaching scholarship at Lindenwood University in 2013. She is currently working at Hills Street Sports Medicine Centre as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and has interests in Exercise Management for chronic disease, injury rehabilitation using functional exercise training and falls prevention.
In her spare time Liana enjoys yoga, playing tennis and sailing in Lake Macquarie.
